The device or drive that you are trying
to access may not allow the userid and password that service is logged
on with to access it. The solution is to have a "common" userid
and password that has access rights on all of the devices or drives that
the DiskMonitor will access.
You must have administrative rights to
do this. If you do not, talk to your system administrator.

the DiskMonitor.
From the 'My Network Places' tree item

share, and select 'Add Share'. The share will now show up under the

How come I can
not map to remote device shares?
In order to access
remote drives the service and GUI must be installed under an account
that has the appropriate rights. For example if you are trying to
access a server with your personal account but the server only
allows the network administrator account to access the drives you
won’t be able to retrieve the information. Make sure the service
account is installed with the appropriate rights. If the GUI doesn’t
show the values, then the account you are logged in under doesn’t
have the appropriate rights to access the drives.
